Trip to the Down South WA

Just got back from the Western Australia Down South Trip.

We had so much fun posing around, explore the unfamiliar place with a rented car, this is so damn cool.

Each of us has a post for this trip, me as the map reader n the tourist guide, Siang Yee as the driver (haha), Zoe as the tour planner, n Li Teen as the photographer most of the time.

We rented a car and 4 of us went down south, lots of them scared something might happen to us as there is only 4 of us, all girls trip, a lil dangerous, plus the weather keep on raining non-stop, driving to the jungle, or outback, or rural area might be a lil bit dangerous, but well we made it!!!

We start our tour on 12 june, sunday ... ahem yea my birthday but so wat ...!!! though on my birthday got to go out of the city n tour around, but hey i am a lil disappointed at my birthday this year, i can say it is the most .... erm.... doesn't feel like is my birthday day. No celebration, no cake, no wishes frm closest friends (where they all went ??? and i wonder) instead ppl i less close with they send me a birthday wishes on friendster ... so a lil unexpected to those who send, but those consider as my close friend ...really all gone fishin!!

Alright back to the trip. We went there for 4 days 3 nights, visited Mandurah, Dunsborough, Yallingup, Margaret river, Busselton, Bunburry..... we almost go to Augusta for whale watching, but due to time constraint we left out that place, if not we can consider cover the whole down south corner of WA.

We took a lot of pictures ... just make ourself like a super model, hahaha can't help it, those scenry too too beautiful, can't even get those view in Perth. Within these few days, we visited chocolate factory, ice-cream, cheese factory, fudge factory - Candy Cow, Shearing farm, vineries, lighthouse, rocks, Berri Farm, lavender farm, Margaret river river mouth, reefs, beach .... wah really excited and happy.

The first day we went to Sugarloaf rock, Cape Naturaliste lighthouse, eagle bay beach, canal rock, wise vineyard, shearing farm, Yallingup reef for sunset .... tis day took a lot of picture, rainbow keep on appear everyday. We have to pay to enter to the lighthouse, but hey it is god damn stong wind up there, we felt like we almost being swept away by the wind if we are lighter n we jump up .... definately cold.

The second day went to chocolate factory, fudge factory, brookland valley vineyard, the groove vineyard, margaret river river mouth, cheese factory, Cape lavender... this day is a bit rush, this is a eat n drink tour, taste a lot of wine, liquer ... hmm i like tat koffee liquer mix with milk, new invention .... n very strong too but really nice, too bad too expensive if not i will buy. Our stomach were so full of wine, chocolate, cheese .... food!! Arh... lots of sweets stuff. We were late to be back because of the delay of our photo shooting ... hahaha we were supposed to go back to our beachhouse befor dark, cuz travelling during the dawn is very very dangerous, because this is the time when those wild animal come out at the roadside, if you are not lucky you might hit them n u might be in trouble. We were so terrified when we were rushing our way back, no lights along the road, except for the dark blue colour of dawn, a kangaroo stood beside the road, scared us til death man.... bt luckily that kangaroo din jump out, if not..... i cant imagine it. We really experience a lot of stuff in this trip.

The last day, after check out, took pic of the beachhouse tat we stayed, then we head of to sugarloaf rock again, because Siang Yee want to chase back her losing pictures.... her pictures were accidentaly formatted, so she wants to take them back. then we head to busselton jetty for the infamous 2km long Busselton jetty. We were walking along the jetty, suddenly zoe n sy scream that they saw dolphin.... ohh then we waited, stared at the sea .... ahahaha dolphin really jump out and say hi to us ... haha so happy n lucky, we saw 3 dolphins... and then suddenly heavy rain ... wah so scared tat the strong wind will come, cuz we might be swept away. But we were too lucky n the rain stop, rainbow come out again.

Throughtout the whole trip, we saw rainbow everyday, cuz it is winter, it always rain, but unlike Perth rain non-stop, down south have lil bit of shower, then clear sky n the sun come out to welcome us... and then rainbow come out. I like the weather there so much, it is cooling, it has sun .... n at nite is a starry night.

All of us were so excited, and start talking about the next trip. and we all doesn't feel tired at all after came back to perth, we even continue our journey to Conca's - the famouse chilli mussel at victoria park. since we have the car til friday, of cuz we use the oportunity to go out as much as we can.... Philip join us to chilli mussel cuz he is also excited abt our trip n come to my flat to kepoh with us... haha. After that, we head to Mill Point for the beloved night view of Perth, at night, Perth truly beautiful, with all the lights light up, looking at it from the other side of the river, make Perth look so damn beautiful. After the chigek chilli mussel, we still can't feel any hot inside our body, as the cool temperature really make us crazy, zoe lie on the grass and starts rolling, i join ... haha to warm our body, had so much fun acting like a crazy people ... haha then we head to King's Park for some pictures too .... just loves it, this is the fun nite.
