Ever since the news of Mark Feehily of Westlife turned gay, I haven't been acting like a fans idoling a gorgeous looking guy for a long long long time.

This new found guy that i am going to mention, he is not a superstar, he is not a singer, he is not a band player, he is not a Hollywood actor nor Bollywood actor, he is not someone from the radio, he is not someone that host a TV show, he is not my co-worker, he is not my neighbour, he is not the guy that work at a petrol station, he is not the guy who work at one of the fast food chain store, he is not someone that i know nor someone from the media.

He is just an annoymous guy that appear in K-Mart, Target, Big W and Myer's (They are like US's Wall Mart or M'sia Carrefour and Isetan department store) weekly shopping catalogue modelling for .......

UNDERWEAR!!!

Yes, men's underwear!

Every week when i am acting like an auntie looking what and where is cheaper to buy. Over the past few month, i discover that this guy is so cute. He's got the eyes that girls dream of, the smile that we all hogging for, the BODY, yes the body.

Everytime when i flip through the catalogue, i saw him, i will tell D that how hot he is .

However, of all the ahem ... underwear modelling picture of him, the best of all, the one that gave us - GIRLS (trying to generalise here) the best fantasy is this week K-Mart Catalogue.

I don't know his name, i don't know what he does for living, i don't know except for underwear modelling what else he does, but i wish to know him better, wish i know his name and i could search for him online and hope that he will turn big big big, so that i can see him more.

Topic-less

Nah, nothing much recently really. I was doing editing this photo out of boredom, not because i discover some new technique to photoshop just because i am quite fond of white background, clean, crisp, stand out.

I am supposed to finish off my assignments which are due next wednesday. Hah! People must have thought "how come cookery course has got assignment to do", yea right, we're not just cooking ya know, we have tons of paper work to do and to study (those boring stuff about food hygiene or special dietery and cultural group).

Instead of doing assignment, i am always, always distracted with TV programmes, games and more recently facebook!! Especially those extra application like Texas Hold'em Poker, Blackjack, Scramble and just loitering around. (yea and blogging now)

Oh well, this way of life wouldn't last long though, this would be my last student life ever (probably...), after next week, i'll be working heaps. And i will be so busy and tired of my working and maybe i won't get much time to go online too! (Hmm, at the moment i still have abt 980++ of unread mails.)

Anyhow, i would like to have a simpler lifestyle, where i life like a normal person, having my family and friends around, travel at least once a year, go out on the weekend. The question is 'When am i gonna have this kind of lifestyle?'

I wasn't intend to blog, i was intending to just put up that picture and see it looks like on a white colour page. And then, i started writing things that i don't know what i am writing.

Real Random

Ok, What's the date today, 4th of Oct 2007, OMG, i can't believe i actually leave this blog blank for ...4 months!!!

Sorry, i know some ppl read this blog to find out what i am up to, even though i don't keep in touch that much but we sort of know what we are doing at the moment because of the power of blogging!!!

But ... hehehe, sorry for not updating in the past 4 months.

The past 4 months has been a full full on 4 months. Just a short update for all you guys what happened within that 4 months!

1.Around June, i was looking for houses to move.
2.Then at the same time, i was busy doing assignment before the semester end.
3.Then we found a house, and we have to pack our everything in the old house and move within a week!! (Full On)
4.Move house and buy furniture n fixture for the house, sort of struggle with money at the time.
5.Then new semester starts, and i have to dedicate abt 30 hours in a week just to TAFE plus 20 hrs a week for work.
6. Visit Ikea for several times, every trip that we went we will come back with something
7. within 2 weeks, we have fix up (i mean D-I-Y) almost everything that we bought for the house, including beds, tables, cabinets, couches, lights etc without any help of a humankind with nuts.
8. after a several months of wait, i finally got a spot working in the kitchen, and i have to say goodbye to my waitressing position at the same restaurant.
9. starting a new job position in the same restaurant is not that hard, but something got me so frustrated n upset is the ppl and the system
10. while i am still struggling with money and work stuff, i have my worse week ever. Our beloved car went to Holland (die on us)
11. Look for a new car and found one, have to borrow money from friends to pay it off.
12. Still visiting Ikea to buy some furnitures, now my house is full of Ikea smell.
13. Had my hair cut!
14.Held housewarming party just a week ago
15.Went to LT Graduation ceremony
16. Someone younger than me ask me if i m interested in a casual domestic partnership, which i am totally not into it!
17. Started my 2 weeks break and looking forward to a nice and cosy fortnight.
18. On Ebay to bid on the LP perth concert ticket that i missed on buying the ticket and now have been sold out.
19. Finally i got time to go out for shopping, enjoy the sun, enjoy the wildernest and my PS2.
20. And here i am to be able to write down a short summary.

I know, within this period, some of my friend went home for good, kinda miss them though! Don't know what they are doing now!

Haih..... right now, i am kinda inspired by Kenny Sia and Nicole to be able to travel so often!! When would it be my turn?

Hah! At last

Finally, blogger has introduce a new feature - picture on your header.

I've been wanted to do this for like a year, i photoshopped the picture and wanted to upload it on my site and make it look pretty, but i don't know how cuz i don't all those html thingy, and so i left it there til rotten!

Good thing with digital file, they will not rot, they will either be there forever or gone missing forever.

A year ago, i spent time choosing all the photos i had, pick which one to be included, minimised them, colour tone them ... and there goes my collection of some of my fav pictures/moments in my life (that i had them in digital format)

Spot yourself in one of the pictures? try it, though it is kinda eye squeezing to do that! Haha, good luck then ;)

Homecook Malaysian style Hokkien Mee

Using yee mee this time, because when i'm going to open the pack of "Aussi" hokkien noodle, it got mould in it :( gotta throw it away and replace something else, cuz i already prepare all the ingredient. Eh ... the hokkien noodle i made it actually tasted quite good you know!! (Cuz i got the recipe from my aunt .. muahaha)


Pan fried Peri-peri mix Blue Spot Emperor with baby spinach salad

It kinda suck everytime you feel like you cook a good meal but it doesn't look as good as if i am eating at a restaurant. Food is very simple, we don't talk about those fancy or complicated food garnish, just a simple parsley or coriander leaf on top of the food, it just stand out completely and make them look so pretty.

So, i kinda can't bare with it anymore ...

This is B'day present for LT my housemate, becuz she is vegetarian so it kinda crack my head to think of something creative and non asian vegetarian meal for her. She was impressed, I am impressed with myself and happy! Hooray! (See the parsley ontop make such a big difference if it is not there)


Steam Green Tea Chicken Salad with Italian dressing

Tried something new on this, i marinade the chicken with some salt then off to the steamer with green tea as the water for steaming, i thought i get the infusion from the green tea to the chicken, but it turn out no green tea taste on the chicken! Ok, experiment failed, but the chicken is good too (luckily i marinaded with salt at the beginning) so does the Italian dressing for the salad. Oh, why i'm eating salad! I am not a big salad fans, but you know, i-don't-know-why/how I gain so much weight, so i tot it is time to go on a diet, eating some vege, be more healthy!

Speaking of staying more healthy, eating more healthy food, but i just couldn't help myself indulging into high cholestrol food; such as

Actually it is all because salmon is such a good fish, so i believe anyone in the world afford to buy salmon and cook it, it will taste as good too! Oh ya, if you really want to buy it, remember to buy it with skin on, cuz you can make the skin as crispy as you can and it just add into the whole eating salmon experience to a superb level!

Ready, Steady, Cook!

Gosh! I am like such a fan to this programe show, don't say me aunty, but it is interesting and inspired!

I am gonna showcase some of my previous artpiece in this post ... behold~~

This is one of my attempt to make delicious fried noodles when i am still in Student Village, my first year in Murdoch. I remember it being tasted real good! It is with minced pork, onion, tomato and wanton noodles.

Being in the mat salleh country, sometimes we are being westernized and start to cook steak, but i don't eat beef so just a simple pan fried chicken thigh fillet and some awfully looking sides ... can't sell this out man ... look awful! but taste ok la, just ok.

Then i started my work in Bluewater Grill, and of cuz i got inspired a lot, and there goes my famous dishes:

Carvo Marvo famous seafood pasta. It taste so yummy! Garlic, white wine, parsley, seafood and mushy... yummy!

Then when i started to get bored with just one style taste good and look good kinda wester dishes, i wanted something fusion. Had a go on this fusion looking pasta, bok choy at the bottom, shitake mushroom and salami, it tasted weird anyway, so i am not making it again, but it looks good right!

Then got inspired by D's restaurant's pasta, i have an improvise version of my Carvo Marvo Seafood Pasta, this time with spinach and chilli, tasted good as well, but i think i lost my consistency on this dish!


Working under the pass in Bluewater Grill, i know more about food and their art and i started going out to eat a lot too.

This dish here .... i forgot wat is inside, but it is sweet potato mash and fried egg. (before the photo taken, the egg look quite artistic but can't hold for too long!)

Then one fine day, went to D's restaurant and tried their garlic prawns, it tasted so good and i wanted to make it on my own as well.

There you go, it looks ok, but the taste compared to D's restaurant, i still have a long way to go. (Don't bitch about the garnish, cuz i dun store parsley at home)

Another fine day, i am so tempted to eat fried food, being tempted from my restaurant's tempura prawn, tempura oyster, beer battered fish & chips, salt n pepper cuttlefish...

And this is my failed attempt to fried, they look so disgusting, not crispy and just look bad. Guess that might be because i don't have a professional deep fryer at home to help me fry stuff, but you know, another thing is oil also quite expensive!

During the summer, i am working so hard, eventhough i have got the money but i don't have the time and the companion to spend it, so what i do is buy seafood and cook it by myself for myself! :)

This is my seafood fiesta, i have got Garlic Bread to start with, then my entree - Garlic, White Wine Mussels, on mains i have chilled prawns (some pears as garnish), and i have broccoli as my side to go with the Chilled Prawns. And i had a glass of white wine of Voyager Estate Chenin Blanc 05' Margaret River, WA to go with my meal. Oops, forgot about desserts, because i am so so so full, can you believe it that i actually finish everything that night! I must have had a crazy thought that day.

Just recently, i made Garlic Prawn Skewers:

Look how amazing they look on the plate, i had parsley flake as garnish, look like it came from a restaurant right! Yup i am improving on making the dish look good and delicious!

One day watching Ready, Steady, Cook, inspired me to make this dish, Thai style Udon noodle:

Oops, i forgot to put seaweed as garnish, if not it would look good! (Please mind with the poorly photoshopped skill)

Not only food, coffee making is also another skill needed job.

Made myself a cup of Flatwhite with some chocolate flakes on it, too bad had the flakes covered the design i had on the thin frost. Next time i should take a picture on my Layered Latte.

The above food are all cook by myself, though some look bad, some just look ok, some look so homely, and some is getting there, but you know what, i just enrolled myself into Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, so behold everyone, i am gonna make the dishes look even better and taste even better, baking cakes and cookies, making lovely looking dessert. Next time i might be able to post some during-the-course-era dishes that make from me. Wait for me yay!

Because i am gonna cook food that come out from a restaurant, that look similar to this!

haven't been blog for a long long long time, yea i admit that that i am being lazy. New year resolution - shouldn't be that lazy... but 18days from the new year, i am still being lazy, gotta change that .

nothing much happen recently, my life involve in working, eventhough that my working schedule now has slow down alot compared to before x'mas, but yet i am still being lazy and staying at home most of the time.

what can i do? i don't have many friends here not to say any family members.

X'mas decor's stuff at Myers or David Jones, once looking at it, my heart warmt, just can't resist!

Work so so so hard, 5 days in a week, everyday almost 10 hours of hard work, weather was hot and humid, felt disgusted everyday finished work because of all the yucky sweats sticking on my body.

Whenever i have days off, i went for crazy shopping, also took advantage of the x'mas sales, everything was on sale and with the money that i earn so hard, there were more reason for me to spend, spend and spend! Not only shopping, eating out at fancy restaurant is another outlet for me to spend my money.

Bought my house a X'mas tree and decor stuff to make the house look pretty and to fit into the X'mas feel .. haha

They are not very expensive, cuz i got it all from Crazy Clarks. Cheap stuff!

The tree, it is only $15 and it is 6ft tall, i carry all the way from the city taking a bus back home! Give me a clap

I thought i am going to have a bad bad X'mas and New year ever in my life, because not being able to celebrate, party and all, but it turn out not to be too bad eh!

On X'mas day itself, i got a lunch shift from work, 11am - 5pm. I was kinda amazed on the atmosphere our restaurant has, and the mood of every staff was happy, exciting and HAPPY! I went into the restaurant in the morning in my usual mood, sleepy, tired and a lil grumpy (hidden), but i was greeted with kisses and hugs from the staff. Not a bad one, but was kinda shocked me off at first, cuz i am still in my sleepy mood, haha!

At the very beginning of the shift, before the customer comes in, all of the staff were provided with Jager-bomb (a shot of Jager and a glass of red bull), everyone toasted "Merry Christmas" ... "wow" i was saying "shit! i haven't have my breadfast yet and i am drinking this straight up", someone reply me "well, this is your breakfast" Haha... a rush of blood to my head, that's the effect of me drinking on an empty stomach.

After 6 hours of workin, i am preparing to leave for my X'mas party, was kinda in a rush though, but then Caleb got a sack of X'mas present dip for all of us, and we toast with champagne again! So much alcohol from work ... i like it! I got myself a robocop and a smiley face present, the smiley face is a replace for the roboccop, which i don't quite get it on how i am going to use it and also got a bottle of white wine as a x'mas present from our restaurant!

Then i off to my x'mas party.

It is hard to get an outdoor BBQ spot in the evening on the x'mas day in aus, because BBQ in a park on x'mas day is somewhat their tradition, drinking and getting pissed is another 'to-do'thing' on x'mas too. I got my so called "famous evil fruit punch" to the party. At first, we were supposed to have it on Heathcote Park (Where i work), but then it was full, and at last we got a spot in South Perth, facing the City.

Sorry, didn't take many picture on X'mas, even if there were, it wasn't in my camera. And, the person featured in the picture might beat me til death if she knows that this picture being put up! Not her best obviously. ;)

On X'mas eve, me n D were working too, but we all got to finish earlier than usual, and we both go for a suburb ride, saw some fantastic house's X'mas decor, but the awards has to go to this house

It is so "kua chang" that the decoration is not only on the house's outdoor, it's indoor decoration was as amazing as it is. Alot of other cars drive by and stop like us, taking photos or watever just to look at it! Haha, i discover this amazing decoration from pizza delivery in 2005.

After X'mas, felt good to have slower working pace, more relax, but when i got my pay check, the figure doesn't look that good, but i was very very very happy with un-inform pay rise! Now i am on level 2, wahahaha!

Off to New Year Eve, I am working as well. This new year's even didn't turn out as bad as i imagine it could be. I thought working would be so sucky. But on that night, we have got a band to sing for the customer and the mood of every staff was high too, because we get Jager-Bomb toast at the beginning of our shift again! We all just love it eh! Not only that, been drinking while working too, with the music playing all night from the invited band, customer all dressed up pretty-ly, we had left over cocktails at the bar and we all tried, someone with a happy mood has a heavy hand, poured in alot of liquer as it supposed to be. Hard stuff but delicious.

Around 11:45pm, the fireworks from Gloucester Park has made the sky of Perth looking pretty. Customer was distracted from their dancing to the fireworks. Not only the customers, for ppl who went to Heathcote Park were queuing up along the coast to look out too.

Out of a sudden, i was dancing with the very good smile waiter, under the starry night! ... hmm looks like a pretty image, but was kinda embarrassing because i am in my working uniform lookin so not-in-my-perfect-condition, plus so many other ppl too ... i tell u that must have been the effects of alcohol.

At 12am, we get to toast with champagne as well, .... "this festive season was one of the best, because we get so much alcohol to drink." One of the waitress said.

I only get to clock off at 1:30am, because i am already half-drunk, i was floating around, can't really feel i was walking on a concrete floor, more like moon-walk.

Shit, my drinking limits get weak and weaker from days to days, just because i didn't go out much! .... =_='''

Told Caleb that i was half drunk and he let me off, but then was invited to a party at Subi.

The guy behind D was leading D to hit the P. D was blindfolded.

Incase no one knows what we are doing, that blue toy is a Pianatta (hope i spelled correctly) It has around 20+ ppl at the house, some of them from my work place, all of us gets a number written on a paper, and then they got out a fortune wheeler to see who is the person to go out and hit the Pianatta. D were the lucky first, obviously me n D don't know what they are going to play cuz we never play such thing before. The P was hanging on a laundry hanger, some evil ppl will push the hanger so that the P won't be at the same place. D was given a thick wooden stick. Her mission is to hit the Pianatta as hard as she could blindfoldedly and she only has 30 seconds to hit it, if the Pianatta still in healthy condition a next lucky person will come up and try to finish to ruin the Pianatta.

D has no idea where the P is and she was hitting the air comically, funny!

Sounds boring right, but it is quite watching someone holding a stick hitting the air. D was one of them, my laugh on her get me the lucky no.2 to hit the Pianatta.

Stupid D took such a bad photo of me doing such an honourable job.

Me the lucky no.2 wasn't that bad eh, i hit hard and hard, good fun, everyone was cheering. However, i didn't get to break it, but this is really a good fun, good experience, this can be considered first time going to an ang-moh's party eh!

3rd person was Christina, also Bluewater staff, she is one of the chefs and then the 4th person is Wade, our sous-chef, this guy is a typical guy who loves seeing hot girls, poker, boost ... and a playful one!

He managed to break the Pianatta with lotsa thanks to me and D. Hahaha

Now, what is inside the Pianatta, heaps of lollies!! Dang!!

First time party until the dawn, but the view of the morning of a brand new year was fascinating enough to make me feel damn good! I loved this morning ^x^
