Production Helpers

Another early morning wake up day. Today is the day that i will go and help out the Honours student shooting project. Heard this from my tutors, and i email the producers as a volunteer, and i already assume that i will be doing those doggie work, just like a "da chap"...

Gotta wake up at 7am... 3 alarm rang, but none of them can wake me up, just felt like not going, cuz i am too tired to wake up this early. But then, i woke up, and have nearly about 20 minutes to prepare myself and walk to TV Studio. After all this time competition, i made it, and arrived on time. hhahahaha.

And yeah... i am really doing some diggie work, like guarding the door out there, dun let anyone to go in without any permission. But nvm, i prepared for it, i even prepared to be scold, but din happen.

They are really professional, i really learn alot of stuff from this experience, from there i know how sucky we are when we are shooting, we are just like some freshmen, who dunno how to shoot, everything messed up, but them, they have all the key word, such as: stand by (everyone need to prepare, ppl who guard the door need to go out), camera going to roll (means camera going to roll within seconds, and the person who do continuity need to be prepare with the correct slate board), roll (means the camera press record, and the continuity need to say scene 2, shot 5a, take3), here comes the director, see everything in set, then he will sit down and say "ACTION" (this is when everyone need to be quiet, cannot move at all except for the actors).

What is so hard in this part is that, if u r in the set, after the word ACTION being called, you cannot move ur leg, cuz will cause some sounds, worse is if you feel like fart.. u have to hold ur fart until the director say cut. I saw another person, he just cannot hold on his counghing... so hard man.. i see his face all red, and chokking all the way...arh

After seeing how they did, at least i have a clue on how to shoot our next mise-en-scene assignment.

Looking forward to another shooting day, i'll helping them on next thursday nite at Dewson's Woodvale, for a food fight scene. I think that would be more interesting... hahah

Tired.... shooting ends at 7pm.
